Qualification: Those who have completed their graduation in any of the disciplines from some recognized college or University can appear for the test. Graduation Degree must be in Mathematics/Civil Engineering/Chemical engineering/Economics/ Natural Science/ Geology/Mechanical Engineering.

Age Criteria: The candidate who is not less than 37 in the general category can appear in the exam. However, age is 40 years for OBC category candidates and 42 years for SC and ST category candidates. There is age relaxation for sure according to the rules framed by the government. BPSC 2023 Exam Pattern:

BPSC Examination needs to appear in two different parts such as:

Preliminary Examination: This paper is an objective type exam. This paper is based on the qualifying examination for which candidates need to go through multiple-choice questions. One needs to choose the apt answer from the available options. In all, there will be 150 questions for 1 mark each. The exam duration will be for 2 hours.
Main Examination: There are 4 papers in the Mains Exam.
