Candidates who qualify for the written examination are called for a personality test, which carries a weightage of 100 marks.

Step 1- Go to the official website of UPSC
Step 2- On its homepage, click the notification to apply for the UPSC CMS exam
Step 3- After clicking on it, you need to log in to its official portal by registering yourself, and your ID and Password will be received on your registered mobile number or Emil Id, as the case may be.
Step 4- After Creating the above process, candidates must fill out the application form.
Step 5- UPSC CMS application form will be filled twice since there are two examination phases.
Step 6- On the application form, they must fill in the necessary details related to educational qualification, Id proof, etc.
Step 7- Once the application is submitted, it will not be rectified. So, candidates are advised to check once before submitting the application form.
Step 8- After submission and payment of the application form registration number will be delivered to the candidate.
Step 9- It is advised to the candidate to take a printout of the application form and save it for the future.
